School Safety

Safety of our students is a top priority.  The District closely follows the State's Safety Guidelines.  New and remodeled buildings are designed with security in mind.

• All schools have double entry front doors requiring visitors to report to the office for access.
• All outside doors are secured. 
• All classroom doors are locked.
• Middle schools and high schools have police officers present in the building to build rapport and mitigate threats, and respond to incidents.

My focus is on ensuring policies are followed and that we are continually refining the safety of our schools.
